Planets and ships

Today i was playing with my new planet and i've done several views of it.
Then i decided to use those views as background for some space scenes; i opened one ship and i've tryed, tryed and tryed again, but i found it was really really difficult to work with planets and spaceships. I could have the most beautiful planet ever created but, the angle of the ship was wrong, i rotated it thousands of time, but it was all wrong...lol...then i found a decent angle, but the lights doesn't fits; lol...really difficult!
Do you have any suggestions?

    Hard to say without any pics of your own attempts. There's like a billion variations you can do with "just" one ship and one planet.

    Of course...this is one of them (the best i've done)
