Technical Questions and Answers

Hi all my films/images feels too plastic, is there a function in 3ds max that allows me to put some kind fo filter on my rendering to make it feel more ''quality film''-ish. Or perhaps a different rendering technicque?:)

it would help if you included a render, so people could look at it and tell you what you're doing wrong

There should also be a film grain rendering effect. Also, give it a small blur.

you just need to download for free the plugin Automatic Awsomeness and choose the magic preset #3
that's what holywood does...
maybe you want to learn more about lighting a scene and texturing your objects ?
an image doesnt need grain efect and motion blur to look good. these just make an already good image look better
