Lens effect with 3ds on shiny object.

Hi all :),I've a little question. I want to know if it's possible with 3ds to make a lense flare on a shiny object automatically. I know how to make a glow effect on this kind of object(by clicking on HUE in the glow effect window) but I don't know if I can do the same with Flare.

    Here I've done a small example for you, these are "general" settings for the effect (I think) you are looking for...

    I did it that way, because (believe it or not) I've never been able to use the "post" effects...:rolleyes:
    Maybe I should spend more time trying to learn MAX...:p

    still cool though, I don't think LW post effects go as advanced as that

    BTW usually I use After Effects too for this kind of effects...;)

    that reminds me of cellfactor. kinda like light bloom except over the top. does that ever actually happen?
