3DAventine class like starship

Hi some time ago I started to model a Star Trek ship. I really like the design of the USS Aventine so I try to create such an spaceship. Since it‘s my first try for creating a Star Trek vessel any advide is welcome.

Currently I‘m done with the 3 main parts, saucer, body and the nacell connectors

    Not the biggest fan of the Aventine, but the model looks good so far, very clean!

    Doesn‘t know if my approach is a good one, bit I merged all 3 main shapes together into a single one with some additional faces. I think the result at this point and possibly ots time to add some details to the shape and see how this works out.
