A lightweight scout fighter for the Earth forces - extremely fast but shortranged this is a common craft on Allied navy carriers.

Like the ship. Like the lighting. Ship needs some "Markings" and some "Dirt". It's to clean.

    Excellent image!

The rear reminds me of the rear of "Supercar", and the front reminds me of an old "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" plastic toy I had back in 1965. But that's just me.

I like this one a lot, Coolhand.

FYI, all Grumman fighters have feline names: F4F Wildcat, F6F Hellcat, F7F Tigercat, F8F Bearcat, F9F Panther, F-11 Tiger, F-14 Tomcat. I'd call this design a Starcat. And it really does look like a Grumman fighter.

cats not snakes eh? d'oh. thinking about it, seems you're quite correct and you're the only person to notice that in the 6+ years that i've displayed this pic...

I'll get it right next time.;)

You got the image right this time, Coolhand. As for the name, well, only a hardcore military aviation buff would be anal enough to nitpick that. Lucky for you I fit that description. :)
