after drawing out the pacifica, i was on a roll and picked another thumbnail sketch of a modern battlestar that I felt was pretty strong and elaborated on it as well.

note that the bottom half of the bow head section is angled like a ship's bow, and aspects of it's engines and the head itself which i took from my impressions of Galactica and Pegasus respectfully.

Also note the two 'antennae' on the undersides of the flight pods. Thus far, I have no idea what purpose should they serve and still remain ambiguous.

As for her name, I'm leaning towards Orion, Triton and Charon, as well as a few other names noticeably ending in '-on.'

    Nice concept, as for the name id go with Charon, seems a little meaner sounding than the other 2, be nice to see a 3D of this one day :)

    Awesome sketch man, looks like a modern battlestar would look with the slightly curvier engines, nose and flight pods and for the name i agree with Galactica_Actual 'Charon' sounds more fitting for her.
