A question. In the new Star Wars movie coming up--is it just me--or does the engine strip seem--thinner--not as tall--more "pinched" by the plates above and below?

I had the same thought when I saw that first teaser trailer. It may be thinner.

I think the new trailer addresses that issue nicely :P

It does? Which part? I watched it last night and I don't remember anything about that. Unless, of course, you mean the part where it says it's directed by J.J. Abrams. :p

The Falcon didnt look thinner :)

They may have improved the model since the first trailer, or somebody had some settings wrong, or something.

You'd be surprised just how slim the Falcon is and depending on the shooting angle and focus used she can look very anorexic :)

I noticed, at least in the teaser, that it has a rectangular antenna now instead of teh circular one. Presumably they had to replace it since it got ripped off in ROTJ and Han sprang for an upgrade!

Yeah, that's my thinking as well. Since the YT-1300 was an old freighter by the time of the first film and there were multiple versions made, Han probably replaced it with whatever he could get a hold of.

I'd like to see the CGI from the original trilogy upgrade compared with stills from this movie.
