Droids all sold out!

This is a banner piece of artwork I did for the guys over at UKR2Builders to be used as a backdrop for photos.
The backdrop itself measures 6x3 metres (some shots below of it in action)

Not to split hairs, but it would be Jawas, not Jawa's.

I'm only mildly disappointed that said Jawas make no appearance in either image. However, the Sandcrawler looks fantastic. It looks photo realistic, as usual. I love their collection of droids too. They even have the R4 with the original head, as opposed to the lame hybrid R4 units with R2 domes they did for the prequel films.

I had to keep it baron for the real droids etc. (and people at the shows) to appear in front with no distractions

I am working on a second image which will star R5D4 a wip below

Hey, I have no issues with children, midgets or dwarfs in costumes. I just like Jawas and wanted to see some in the photos.

That image is awesome. It's hard to tell where your CGI ends and the photograph begins.

Wow, I'll bet that took a while to render. I was going to ask what kind of resolution you used to get something that big that clear.

10 hours render time, and then work in post in PS

That's not so bad. Though, I certainly wouldn't want to do an animation that large.
