Hi guys, I hope you won't mind too much if I vent my Star Wars bric-a-brac in this thread to keep it contained. None is meant to be cannon, or a direct representation of the model featured, unless it is, in which case I meant it to be that way.

First up, the texturing on the McQuarrie A-Wing, or R-22 Spearhead, or whatever you want to call it, is mostly done. This is the pretty clean version. A much more scuffed version may be underway!

Looks nice, but just to give my opinion removing those triangle logos might be a good idea, thye don't match well with the rest of the lines on the craft. Otherwise it looks great, especially those details in the sections where there is no hull covering the internal parts (the area around the gun mounts on the "wing" tips, the areas between and around the engines).

The thing I like about your models (this and the hammerhead espacially) is that the first time I look at it I think its a perfect recreation of the reference and I have to look at it two or three times to realize that it is totally different.

That's sweet. I watched it a couple times, taking in all of the great details. The underside is really interesting to me, since we didn't really get to see it well in the movies. Did you use photos of the model as a reference to make that part?

I've always liked this type of transport. Sure, they're not pretty, but they shouldn't be. The Empire has all of the pretty ships, the Rebellion has whatever was on hand.

Nice design on the ship in the left hand image of post #8. The panelling style is pretty nice. It does look like it's begging to be a fighter though. That sort of shape doesn't seem quite right up at shuttle and transport ship sizes.
