Hey, have never posted in this section before.

Well, Am in a long Mode Project. A DVD video for a friends original Guitar tracks.

Am doing animations and this is a scene for one of the clips for the DVD.
Its a 6 min per frame or longer kinda render..:D
I spent proly 4-5 hours on the scene so far. am rendering it out some to see how the
the Pillars look.

I thought the still looks pretty good. so, sharing it here with yall to geek at. :)

this is Frame #3

The Pillars and Top Cloud are 2 different emitters and separate Pyroclusters.
Was not easy getting them to match one at begin and the other pyro at its end cycle
when they meet.Could use more tweeking maybe

the pillars look a bit too uniform, i think they should be more chaotic with larger flames extending from random points. i don't know what material the ground around them is but unless it is mud(possibly superheated mud as one can bet in volcanic eruptions), filthy water or chocolate it is far too shiny. the debris around the pillars' bases is alright as are the more distant rock formations, the layered look is quite accurate fro some rock types.
