Hi there !!! This is my redesign of a vehicle of the 70's UFO tv series from Gerry Anderson . Is the SID (Space Intruder Detector ). This was made ​​using 3D MAX and using mental ray as render engine. Hope you like it ...

    cool model, nice pics. looks like a fairly plausible spacecraft with very little regard for aerodynamics and the main consideration being getting everything on, which is what one would expect. the lighting looks good for matching with the background pics and the shadows nice and dark. the use of those borders on the image as if they are being taken through a higher resolution equivalent of a babylon5 maintbot is a great touch.

    A much more modern look to it than the now ancient design from the show. Love it!

    Any I love it! Much better looking and believable version of SID than the original.

    "spacecraft with very little regard for aerodynamics" that was a positive comment, not a complaint. it's good to see models of be exo-atmospheric craft which LOOK LIKE exo-atmospheric craft.

    This is beautiful! I'm sorry that I didn't see this sooner. Nicely done and although a redesign, not so different as to be unrecognizable.

    I loved UFO as a kid.
