Hi all, happy 2014! I wanted to post this here a while ago but as the site was under cyber-jihad attack, I was unable to. (btw is there anything especially anti-Islamic about creating 3D models of starships? I must check my copy of the Qur'an to see if anything is mentioned on the topic....) Anywho, here's my latest baby...


BRIEF: USS Orion - A secret Federation Starship designed to defend station K-7 from frequent Klingon raids. This ship would later be the testbed for the Federation's early attempts at a cloaking device. Design specs on this ship were later stolen by the Tal Shiar and used to create the now infamous Romulan Bird of Prey...

PERSONAL NOTES: This is my latest TOS starship design. I have taken design elements from the K-7 station and the Romulan Bird of Prey and combined them into this nifty little attack ship.

I was searching for images of the Romulan Bird of Prey on Google the other day and I found one of your renders. I just didn't know where it came from until now.

nicely composed and rendered image there. downloaded the model, certainly cool for a starfleet ship but a bit ugly. i don't really have much more to say about it.
