i really like this fighter.
concerning the nacelles. i also like your explanation for the exchangeablety. but the main problem with warp flight will be the power unit. you will need a warp core system to provide the needed power and the fine tuning of a warp nacelle isn't an easy thing. that's why nacelles usualy are mounted stationary. just my two cents.
The fighter already has a warp core. when it's not powering the nacelles it's power is diverted to the Structural Integrity field, shields and phaser cannons.
