Greetings all,

Someone asked if I could do this. I said yes. Here we are.

Yes, yes, I know,....this is and H-wing. (C'mon, it's not as bad as the "R-Wing")
It's non-cannon and I think it showed up in one of the Dark Horse comics in the early 90's.

Dig it, Fellows babies!

BTW: BOOOOOOO-GGEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR!

Very interesting design, part A-wing, part Y-wing. Is she designed to be fast and brutal? with alot of armament?

    Sly Assassin:
Just a variant bomber from the designers of the famous Y-wing.
Cons: slower than the Y-wing, need more crew (3) and not so manouverable.
    Pros: stronger hull, stronger shields.
Its armament nearly the same as those found on the Y-wing. Comes equipped with a heavy laser turret, frontal twin ion cannons and torpedoes.

I take these info from an old Challenge magazine. The Star Wars wikia holds additional informations.

I've been disappointed that only the first season of that has been released on DVD.

As god is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!

I think of all the Y-wing derivatives my favourite would be K-wing, but it's always good to have a Star Wars thread pop up. Nice work so far :)

When I was younger... and I mean way younger... I thought the TIE Fighters were H-Wings...

Interesting design, though... I am a fan of the SW designs, but this one not so much. I keep thinking of the movie "Stuck On You"... It looks as if one pilot says, "bank right!" The other shouts, "bank left!" And the ship would threaten to split...

I know it isn't that way, that one cockpit houses the pilot and the other the gunner/bomber, but that's what I think when I see these...

As for the modeling, can't wait to see some details. Otherwise, clean!

I did a little more tonight. The pods on the side "vaguely" resemble the shuttle bay on a refit "Connie". (Just an observation.)

Looks to me more like a family sized landspeeder than a spaceship. A landspeeder minivan perhaps.

Added the first bits of armour to the H-Wing. Also built the nose gun. I think the basic shape is done. Off to "Greeble Land".

Did a little more tonight. Cockpit tubs, proton torpedo launchers (in between the cockpits), some armor plates and greebles. I put two pilots inside and a fig for scale.

Howdy kids! I need to get this done soon so I started using some greeble packs that have been floating around for a while.

Thanks "Jedilaw" (Wayne Jones) for making his available. ;)

Someone else didn't put a "readme" in the pack.
