If I have say 50 LWO files to make up a single compartment on a ship, how can I combine all of them to make one single object file?

In modeler, "Load Object into Layer." Of course, you should flip to a new layer before you do that.

Dan Alban's Inside Lightwave series is an excellent way to get to know LightWave.

I think what you mean there is 'how can I quickly and easily combine them', I guess you already know how to do it the normal way, but to do it automatically you'd probably need a plugin unfortunately

the good thing is I've done this with 35 objects, and it only ends up taking 10 minutes or so, it's tedious but it's not actually that slow, 50 objects should be fine for you to copy and paste

I know it's not the answer anyone wants, but as a lightwaver you have to put up with these things
