2D[GIMP] USS Cherenkov NCC-3200

I guess my gimp skills are improving. This latest
attempt at drawing a ship is turning out a lot
better than I had expected.

The design was inspired by MadMan's USS Archon,
retaining the overall shape, but the primary hull is
more spherical, and the secondary hull will be much
larger. The warp nacelles are separated, placed on
pylons that are based off those of the Excelsior.

My end goal is to fully draw the ship and deck plan it.
The first draft will be drawn in GIMP, with a later
version done in Ink Scape. I really need learn to work
with vector based programs.

As always, critiques and suggestions are welcome.

Looks good so far. Are those movie-era nacelles? It kinda looks like a 4 nacelled variant of the Sydney class transport. Different shape of course, but it looks like it would perform a similar role. I like it! Can we have more views please?

Actually this ship is much larger than a Sidney class. You might be able to fit a Sidney in its main shuttle bay. The Olympic is a more accurate comparison. And yes, those are Movie era nacelles, or at least my attempt approximate them. They may get changed to the Excelsior style nacelles later on. All depends on how the Side view turns out.
