The Dude

Hi. I'm reading this forum for a while now and finally get to post my first own wip. I recently took a blender course at my university and am now trying to model my favorite trek ship, the akira class from first contact.

So far i finished the basic shape. Hope you like it.

your off to a great start. Your Cat's look 100% better than mine. Do you mind posting a wire frame of them?

Well, the modeling is really impressive, but the edges of The Dude's Catamarans look a little too sharp, don't they? The shape looks EXACTLY right, but the model looks more real if the edges are slightly blunted.

yeah they are a little sharp, but it still early. Looks like The Dude just roughed out the basic shape. still alot of work to be done.
But given what he's show us this will be an out standing build when it done.
