2DStar Trek Wacom Bamboo test

Recently got hold of a Wacom Bamboo fun and touch (or whatever it's called) and decided to have a play with it. Not really done any 2D work before so my drawing style is still in the works (can't draw people for the life of me, so if anyone has any tips on that I'm all ears!)

Anyway, for my first project I thought I'd do something I've never attempted in 3D - create a Starfleet ship. So far have the hull shape down, the nacelles (though I'm not entirely happy with them) and the deflector arrays. It's all a bit rough and ready, but I don't think it's bad for my first attempt, especially as I'm not going for ultra detail here.

Anyway, C&C welcome as always!

Interesting start you have the colors done quite well. It mainly lacks detail and sharpness (something that is hard to achieve with the wacom when you just started). Alsote nacelle looks a tad to close to the main hull. Even so with some shading that might turn up better. So keep it up.
