Max Particleview not working

Just did a clean install of win7 (and max 2009), created a particle system, tried to go into particle view and I get an error message saying: "AddFlow4 ActiveX control is not installed properly" :S
The install went normal, I have no idea what caused this...I will try reinstalling first thing tomorrow, but thats another 16 hours away, so if anyone has any suggestions in the meantime I'd appreciate it
