Maya: Crack Shatter effect

Ok so for my group college project i have been tasked with creating the intro scene for a comedy video that we are making and im having this wine bottle thrown against the title and having it shatter falling to the ground after hitting the floor but when i go to apply and try the factory settings of it it comes up with the error message(see image below) and i dont know what t do ive tried changing the ettings and nothing is happening the same error is popping up

any thoughts.
