Fighting with Max to save renders

Just lately Max9 SP2 seems to be tossing a coin when it comes to saving my renders, sometimes it will, and sometimes it wont, and I am definitely clicking on save and ok, and not cancel.

It looks like its saving, but you go to look for it and its not there.

I don't know if its a memory issue as after I shut down photoshop which was running at the same time it seemed to get more reliable.

Anyone had similar issues?

    Never had this,
    But check to make sure your saving the actual file extension and output.

    make sure max didnt put it into the default location wich is userdocumentsmaximages

    sometimes it just happens when youre not vigilant enough while setting the output name

    No, path and extensions are fine, there are just times when I have other programs than Max running that it just refuses to save, but still pretends to.
