and here follows - highly asked - the biggest known shuttlecraft in the ST universe: the gryphon class runabout from gk design. it has a lenght of 40 m and it's a great design!!
i did it in nemesis colorscheme and hope, you'll enjoy it.
^
well, didn't think about it yet. i think. the maquis raider is definitly a light vessel, isn't it? it's about 90m long and 21m high, so this means, it will have at least 4 decks. that's nearly the same high like the defiant.
will see, what i can do.
and last, but not least the Captains Yacht from the good old Enterprise-D. Unfortunately never seen in the show this auxiliary shuttelcraft has a very unique design. traq did a very inspiring wip here at scifimeshes for this vessel and i followed mainly his considerations.
with this graphic i've closed the set of MSDs for big shuttles and hope, it enjoyed some of you to see them again in this way.
feel free to share your comments and suggestions here. thanx.
good work on the Calypso - you did justice to it. I'm thinking about re-starting that thread, and if I may, that MSD might end up at the helm somewhere. :thumb:
wow! thanx, traq. that would be a great honor.
look forward to see the calypso finalized. during the work on the MSD is started to love that ship - honestly! it has a great potential and is an unique design - which you have cultivated at its best.
thanx for the hints, guys.
to be honest, i forgot the morpheus. sorry.
for the sacagawea-class scout i didn't found some orthos (top, side, front, back and ventral view) so it will be difficult to do a good schematic work, which i need for the MSD. if you can help, kazadum?
I believe they'd be too silly. I mean, having a diagram of some strange geometric shape with two symmetric doors and a window in front is somewhat... ...er, boring. If not to say unnecessary...
