Saving animations in Blender.

FreakFreak1088 Posts: 4,361Member
I know how to save a simple animation in Blender. However I have made two short animations which I have brought back into Blender. I have done some editing (in the image editor) to make them one new animation. But I am not sure how to save the animation so I can view it in Win Media player or something else.

Is it the same way I saved the original animation or is there another way to do it?

All help would be most greatful.

I have managed to figure it out.

For those that want to know. here is how you do it.:

Once you have set up your animation, and add all the affects. Go to the render option and select “Do Sequence.” Remember that the animation will save by default in the temp folder on the C drive. Also remember to save the render in a movie format. This will in the different option for saving a pic.
Once all that is done, click anim. It will then render like a normal pic or animation. While saving it at the same time.

If anyone wants a proper tut on how to do a basic animation, let me know and I’ll put one together.
