Help on stargate sg-1

This is a question for all you guys that have seen the first episode of season 10 of stargate sg1. I noticed that when the orion jumpend into hyper space at the end ... from the jaffa homeworld after picking up sg1 ... a trail formed behind the ship. And here is the question: do I need to see an eye doctor or can someone explain a bit what that effect was ...

Probably ... I don't realy know and it happend realy fast ... that is why I'm asking here ... perhaps you guys noticed it better ...

It was one of the Ori ships weapons fire, they were supposed to show the Odyssey just making it out by the skin of their teeth, a split second away from destruction

Yeah its the Ori beam weapon just narrowly missing the ship. they recycle the same shot in the last episode.
