How to show the roof?

Alright im working wth 3ds max 8
Is there anyway to show the roof of my bridge? Because this is what i get

btw i know its not that good but i made it a few months ago as a experiment

    you have to make sure the faces of the roof are visible underneath it
    I assume you can see the roof from above?
    does max have a 'flip faces' or 'flip normals' tool?

    why dont you show us some wireframes? as well as an overview of the scene, might let us be more help. and put some proper lights in there, it might be that the ceiling just isn't recieving any light - drop an omni light in the middle of the room as a test.

    yup placing the omni worked feel kinda dumb now lol since there was no light the lighting was perfect didnt think to have an omni lol

    in your texture slot for the roof, make sure to clic on the 2 sided checkbox.
