export camera so I can match movement?

alright, we're cooking. I've got things how I want. the only trick now is that I have a background with some planets in where the scale for that is so huge, I can't get it to display obviously with the ships.
in LW8 how do I export the camera move from my ship scene so I can import into my other layout and have the background movement match for compositing?
