This is the first in a short series of images of the USS Enterprise resting in drydock. In this one, she receives a visit from an acquaintance from days gone by.

    I'm not sure about the crew standing there. Though it looks nice, as far as I know in those days the hangar doors had no force fields. On some occasions in the series or a movie an off-voice said "hangar repressurised".

    I wasn't sure about this either. TMP shows cargo workbees entering the hangar while people are working inside, but other references say the hangar still had to be depressurized to admit craft. I decided to go with the crew in place because I liked the idea of an honor guard awaiting the arrival of the old shuttle.
