I need to re-add the two glowing panels in front but this was done to show what the original model looked like in front of a bluescreen in the 1960's.

That is fantastic! I've seen the original photo on which you based this shot. Making a render of a behind-the-scenes shot is a cute and novel idea, and the wonderful execution is icing on the cake! Nice job.

I had in mind an article that would show how the original effects were done and what a difference technology makes.
