R2-D2, A New Hope

Well taking a break from other projects and took a trip back to older work, and finally decided to get Artoo into the Tantive corridor!

Its still not a finished work as I am converting the corridor itself back from Maxwell to render in Mental Ray, but thought it was about time I stuck them together :)

Rendered with Mental Ray, some post work in Photoshop.

Edit: After feedback I updated the image, trying to inject more colour as well as improve the contrast :)

    Your work always Amazes me, ...All that's missing is C-3PO to complete scene.





    Nice Detail on R2-D2, ...right down to light reflecting in his eye. :thumb:

    EDIT: PS - The final image planned is of course to have Artoo and his best mate strolling down the infamous corridor, so be patient as its coming :)
