The Great Experiment?

Dauntless.jpg
Just like the Excelsior with its transwarp drive, the Dauntless is the next experiment with its slipstream drive. But will it work ?
Well it did work for me ;) A slight refit of Ramiel's Dauntless in a brand new drydock.

one slight problem, the dautless wasn't a federation ship, it was a ship made to look federation by an alien that wanted to punish janeway, for her responsibility of the attack that the borg made on his homeworld, in which they were all assimilated

Yeah, Piper I know...but that doesn't mean it is impossible for the Federation to reconstruct this vessel once Janeway had returned from the Delta Quadrant. Btw: this Dauntless version isn't exactly the version from Voyager. It has quite a few adjustments.

It would make sence for the Federation to re-create the Dauntless from Voyagers sensor logs... as it seemed in the series they had hit a wall when it came to warp drive development. some form of slipstream is the next logical step.
