Sonic Weapon Effects.

Anyone Remember Dune 2 and it's successors? I do.
And recently i've begun design on a tank called the Scylla for my own universe but I want to put on Sonic Cannons as an Anti-infantry weapon, naturally i'll be doing "combat" shots and I want a convincing method of doing a sonic "pulse" effect?

    you could always make a bubble of sorts or how ever you want the projectile to look then make it 90% transparent then give it a water type texture so that when light hits it you git a kinda speratic ripple effect and then say as it hits an infantry member have it deform a bit and then dissapate.

    But that is the idea i came up with for doing a preditor style cloak for a ship.(modified a bit :D)

    max comes with a "shock wave" object, it's under advanced primitives or extended something like that
