Hey all, I'm a lifelong Trek fan but am just getting acquainted with Blender. After finding the amazing Enterprise-D model by Alex Klemm I decided to learn how to set up a space scene and create a planet. I had some knowledge on setting up animations so I put together a short scene, then decided to give it some added context as an "upgraded" effects short from the first scene of TNG's "Best of Both Worlds." I may see how far my skills can take me at recreating more scenes, or I may venture into some original ideas. I'd appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks!
