3DTrek ship

An explorer class ship I've had on the back burner for sometime now has been moved into my texture queue. Not much to see right now. I modeled this a couple of years ago but it has sat with a few other projects gathering virtual dust.

Saucer always most time consuming for me but I made some good headway last couple days.

    By the looks of it, the saucer is roughly Nebula-sized, but the secondary hull is pretty deep, so I’m thinking she probably has more internal volume than a Nebula… MAYBE almost as much as a Galaxy.

    So, took a quick step back to reevaluate ship size based on observation by BolianAdmiral. Port were too big if ship is close to size of Nebula class (which it probably was when I started designing it).

    Redo on saucer textures which were reapplied, moved on to some hull components and nacelles.

    Really just need to do the big sensor thingy and deflector to be done. Some doodads will just get basic coloring.
