For any of you that harm way back to the old 3D Gladiators days, I just read that Fabio Passaro has passed. Nice right up here https://collider.com/star-trek-lower-decks-season-4-uss-passaro/

He and I sort of owned building out ships for the Star Fleet Museum back in the day. I knew he'd gone on to do model work professionally but was unaware where.

    That's truly sad news. When I was first starting in CGI and I had no clue what I was doing, I remember seeing his work and being awestruck. It is nice that Lower Decks did a tribute to him. Sometimes, artists can be the unsung heroes of these shows, so it's nice to see them pay tribute to one of the heroes we lost.
