I started learning Blender just about two Months ago (though I have some previous experience in 3ds Max). Since I've allways been a Star Trek fan I mostly do starship, spacestation and shuttle models. Currently I'm working on a Destroyat class starship with some interiors.
I hope you enjoy some of the renders. And if not at least be nice :-P
I'm still recovering from all those exams, so there's not much progress. However I do have some fresh renders for y'all ...
I made the windows on the saucer ever so slightly smaller and centered them vertically. Also I opted for portholes for the crewquarters on the lower rim to change things up a little
The interiors needed to be tweaked just a little to fit with the new windows but that wasn't too much work
Also: I did a little more work on the bridge some time ago but adn't really time to render out an image. So here's one now.
Hope you enjoy! ;-)
My new job (at least for the next four months) at the district court doesn't start until November, so maybe there's time to work on that engineroom a little. But there's also a lot of other things still to do in real life ... guess we'll see :-D
I tried to chrome out the sides a little, but it didn’t really come through. Anyway, here’s another render. Another little animation is also in the works, since I’m still not happy with the texture and some parts of the hull. And there are things, that are easier to judge in motion. At least for me 😁👌
I added some details to the shuttlebay. It's a little dark, but that's easyly fixed with another Light on the ceiling. Or maybe it just was the nightshift
Since I finished the corridors in the upper saucer I wanted a render looking out from one of the science labs there.
Also: I thought, if I'm doing the shuttlebay somewhere down the line, I might as well have a shuttle to put in there, so I started to put one together today:
If someone's interested, what the layout on the inside of the ship actually looks like: I did a quick viewport render:
Given, I went at this without any plan whatsoever, it looks pretty coherent
I was quite happy with her, wen I finished modeling. But looking at her now, she could use some more detailed textures and maybe also some higher poly interiors. Now ... where will I find the time ... 🤔
