Test animation following AlaskanFX 's very excellent tutorial (even if I went insane because I couldn't get it to behave like theirs!) along with my first attempt at poking Davinci Resolve

This turned out better than I honestly expected. 1,284 daleks in the scene, though 1,280 of those are low poly mockups I originally created as a scale marker. Which is pretty consistent with classic Doctor Who actually

Not much, but just a little bit more work on the loading bay.

I'm still debating whether to have two on opposite sides or not.

A somewhat experimental colour scheme here partially inspired by the sort of blueish steel you'd see in many of the early tv21 comic strips, and the first time I think the red domed look really *works*.



Once again still using blenderkit for the mountains and textures, though the water was done myself based on a tutorial.

I really like how the glow from inside the saucer looks, not quite as happy with the rest of the scene. Was aiming for a vaguely forbidden planet look.

A Black Dalek and two warrior drones venture out fo the city and into the petrified jungle of Skaro.

The way the taller background trees look was actually done by accident, but I like it. Seems fitting for alien, petrified trees where parts have crumbled to dust.

Blending together the TVC 21 bell like saucer, the original Dalek Invasion of Earth saucer, and the special edition version of the same. I may try and include details from the movie saucer.

Also included is a low-poly Dalek model for scale, I am affectionately referring to as a 'Dapol' Dalek.

Heya first post here in...huh, three years.

Occasionally made dips back into the world of CG, and recently just made myself my own Dalek model.

So I'll make a WIP thread for the development of this model, and other Dalek related stuff, but for now here's a the a couple of images.
