Looks exactly as I imagine a "large Defiant" would look like. Love the design so far. Captains chair and Helm/Ops console will be interesting to see.

Which station is for the First Officer? Standing room only...? 😋

STAR TREK: VOYAGER - “PRIME FACTORS”
The scene in Engineering when the trajector technology goes bad was great… the fear and panic from everyone was very palpable, and you could really feel the tension and panic. Very well acted and directed scene. In all reality, however, after all that, B’Elanna should have been stripped of her rank and status as an officer, as she literally did almost destroy the ship, as a result of her actions. Janeway is wrong… she doesn’t NEED her… she wants her. She could very easily replace B’Elanna with Carey, so I felt Janeway was extremely lenient in this situation.

To be fair, Carey was equally guilty in almost destroying the ship as he was part of the group fiddling with the alien tech in the hopes of getting home sooner. So I feel neither B'Elanna or Carey would've retained their ranks, especially in light of Janeway demoting Paris for "disobeying orders", and sent to the brig for 30 days in a later episode...

That being said, it is definitely one of the better season 1 episodes. I feel Voyager doesn't get the positive credit it deserves.

Maybe something like this next to the sofa? Replacing the 2nd end table:

Specifically Picard's "book stand", but with a book more befitting the namesake of the ship?

Looks like you're off to a good start. Though I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to the old Connie. The DSC version isn't necessarily "bad", but they didn't really have to do much in redesigning her. Just improved lighting.

The one oddity is the off-center shuttlebay. Maybe have a small maintenance door on both sides?

Choose whichever registry makes you happy. It's your ship after all, not ours. And it's not like Trek has been very consistent with numbers in the past anyways.

I prefer the newer version as well. Layout is definitely better, and I like the color scheme... however:

In both versions, you have a total of 19 seats (16 staff, 3 command), which feels a bit overkill for a "mid-size" Attack Cruiser like the Prometheus Class. Personal preference, would be a reduction of the blocks of 3 seats, down to 2 giving it a total of 15 seats. Still a considerable amount, but far more sensible in my humble opinion.

Of course, this is your design, and I love it just the same. Just throwing the idea out there :)

One thing currently missing though, is some sort of console for the First Officer to interact with.

  • Where do these windows come from ?

The Strange New Worlds version of the ship has had some alterations. Most notably on the external, the aforementioned windows. The ones immediately in front are likely the height from floor to ceiling. But the saucer of the "TOS Connie" has mostly been considered to be 2 decks tall in most iterations, so I'd say they look pretty reasonably scaled.

Another notable change, is the way the bridge looks. Warmer colors, new display graphics, and the removal of the "outer corridor" around the bridge, as shown in Discovery. Also a new secondary turbolift on the starboard side, near Spock's station.

  • Odyssey Class

Ship already looks a lot better than the ingame STO version 😁

  • Lewis' Galaxy Class

    A Galaxy Class and a Jem'Hadar Fighter...

I smell an Odyssey in the making 😁

    Lovely work as usual, Lewis.
