Intricately greebled and unnamed miniature-scale sci-fi truck thing! Aiming for a model that can be printed in several parts as a kit in scales from 15mm figure scale up.

Correct! You have won this round, but for 5 bonus points can you name the team or pilot? ikz86wqttow0.png Here's a bit more, detailing still very much in-flux, not sure what its meant to be, power generators, sensors, weapons dispensers should be somehow represented, for example the ship in game fires rearward missiles and dispenses packs of anti-gravity mines to thwart rival teams,
.... I wonder where the bit of detail texture Psygnosis used in the psx game was cropped from.rktc1b4hxlpi.png

Ah, knight, my old nitpicking nemesis! Considering my earlier prototypes from almost 20 years ago would cost literally thousands of $ to print (which fortunately was entirely clients concern!) using stereo lithography back in the day.... Having an SLA machine, incl materials and post processing eqpt, which costs less than a single print from 2 decades ago to do high quality resin prints at home is a game changer, what machines do you have?

Improved version of the tuk-tuk, but some goofball overloaded it!

g0gt83z005cv.jpg Having some fun with this procedural texture effect - just a radial gradient.

Those are solid resin wargaming pieces - its normal that the glass is a painted on effect for such models, a clear canopy for this\/ would be nice though. I'll probably print it as an open framework initially... still early days, see if you can guess what it is/from...

Here's a little more;) Note that while its proportionally accurate and the details are roughly the right shape in the right place, they may be exaggerated a little due to the scale of the final production miniature, which is in scale with the 22 inch discovery i recently completed. also small details which wont replicate at this scale are discarded.. which is probably a good thing or i'd be here for years. but i've still managed to pack a lot in.

Well, the aliens have left me alone long enough that i can do some more work, awful internets on that mothership, they really need to stop using Tiscali.

I'm building this for a miniature model kit, this section is about 4.5cm tall when printed... See if you can guess the model.

*Congrats to Death Angel for being a massive human geek and correctly guessing the ship this image is from, well done Death Angel, you are a credit to your species:)*

*edit, updated to show current state 19/08/10*
