Here are some mock live-action portraits of the "Batfamily", (minus Batman and Alfred. I didn't do them because they've been in live action form already) in the order I painted them. I will be redesigning all of their suits as well. I used at least four separate references for each portrait.
Nightwing. (Richard Grayson)
Red Robin (Tim Drake)
I like to call him Red Hawk, in lieu of the restaurant.
Red Hood (Jason Todd)
Oracle (Barbara Gordon)
One of my all time favorite characters.
Batgirl (Stephanie Brown)
Black Bat (Cassandra Cain)
The Huntress (Helena Bertinelli)
Bluebird (Harper Row)
Robin (Damian Wayne)
He is starting to become my favorite.
I'll probably fix the brushwork of some of these later. More to come!
Speaking of book covers, I seem to remember starting a project for you. I might be able to get back to that if your interested, now that I'm more experienced.
Great job on the latest works, Hunter. I especially like the Batman characters. Though, everything else looks great too. That latest landscape almost looks like a photo.
Holy ****, first you knock me off my feet with this excellent Enterprise redesign, now you finish me off with cool character studies and Landscape designs. O.O

That latest landscape was based off a picture that my uncle took of me and my sister on a hiking trip last week.

I think small ships are just more visually appealing. They don't get lost in detail like bigger ships do. It also means that when they take a hit, it matters a lot more than getting a hull breach on deck 32 when your main cast is all up on deck 1. xD

I agree completely. I'm rather partial to smaller ships myself.

Yep, that's how I feel about small ships. It's easier to make out details and the action definitely has a "closer" feel.

"First landing"
I could see this as a bookcover (the image would need to be flipped though I think)
Also went out and listened to your music, I like very much. Want to score an amateur movie?
Steve
Thanks! And I'm always interested in scoring. Hit me up: [email protected]

Thanks! I'm definitely most proud of those two.

Glad you like!
Gallant class:
"Extant" class?
And a Luna class reboot:
I really like small ships for some reason.

Excellent design, Hunter. :thumb:

Agreed. Also you can actually get to know virtually all the crew members to a certain extent, even if you only know their names.
