This render has some subtle changes from the last. I put a bulge into the two Triangular shaped objects at the back of the hull. As you move down the surface from top to bottom the object bows out. I also added a small greeble at front of the top triangular object.
I've been looking at that complex pattern on the front of the cooling grills and so UV mapped the front grills and painted them. I think it adds a lot.
Moving forward with a two hull split - plus warp fighter. With a tip of the hat to @kaden 's fighter, which I really like. In this image I am just beginning to deal with the fact that when you split this ship, all the photon / quantum torpedo weaponry leave with the lower attack sled. Hence the two downward projections on the upper hull behind the cavity for the forward bridge area of the attack sled. Right now there are torpedo launchers there. I am probably going to move to a spherical shape for those.
I did the rat maze dohicky extending from the warp controllers. Here is a better angle on it. Also added, was some other fine detail on the controllers. Still haven't cut in the engine area in the stern since I'm still working out main hull body problems.
