  • Ready Room Stargazer

You added the AMT/ERTL tile lines. Great detail.

    Loving the displays so far.
It amazes me how little they think of their viewers. They thought we might think Sovereign class ships were the Enterprise and Intrepid class ships were the Voyager, so they left them out so we wouldn't be confused. Yet, they had SWARMS of Galaxy class ships. If they think we're so friggin' stupid, weren't they worried we'd be like "Hey, wasn't that ship destroyed in Generations?" :eyeroll: Though, I also know that's the truth. Alex Jaeger designed way more than four ships for the Borg battle in FC, but some designs were discarded because the shapes were too similar to the Enterprise-E. And the Galaxy class was left out of the battle specifically for the reason mentioned above.

As for internal politics, I think some of us are better off not knowing. I know I am.

Not to mention the whole "Constitution/Constellation" fiasco. I don't think a single viewer would have mistaken the Stargazer for the Enterprise. Though in the end it was for the best since we got a "new" class of starship.

The more I look at the vertical MSD, the more it makes sense over the pool table. Especially in a smaller engine room.

Your engineering room is giving me that "I want to be there" feeling.

I like the conduits in the floor as well, although I think it's awkward that they just end at the wall. Maybe there should be access panels? Grating over the conduits would be useful as well. I'm loving the intimate, utilitarian feel of this engine room.

"Some days you get the bear...some days the bear gets you."

Amazing work. Very cinematic. The warbird looks so menacing when it decloaks.
