I am investing most of my time in the corridors these days. Currently I reinforce the supporting framework. Which really isn't a complicated task but means a lot of tedious routine work.
Like with the "Milan Maru" I'm mostly playing with materials here instead of actually modelling.
This is the current version of the bussard material. I also added those little intakes through where the bussard collectors are supposed to collect interstellar gas. Right now they are just light leaks of course. I still have to modify the nacelles there, too
Well back in the days when they still made practical FX, the destructibles have been highly inaccurate, too compared to the models used for hero shots and the sort. Therefore you could even argue that an inaccurate texture makes your shot even more accurate.
