It has been a long while since I last posted.
like many I am still working on Star Trek designs with a reimagined twist.

Made my final tweak to the Constitution Class and recently finished the shuttle

It's a long time since I last posted, I hope you like this design, inspired by old comics called Starblazer (not the cartoon)

Starhawk originated in The Crunch comic published by Scotland’s D.C. Thompson in the city of Dundee before transferring to another comic title better to known to my generation as Hotspur, and later appeared in Starblazer, Victor, Spike and (as ‘Young Starhawk’) Buddy, as well as three Hotspur annuals.
Heroes:
Sol Rynn, alias Starhawk, was a roving lawman who brought justice to the scattered worlds of the slowly disintegrating Terran Empire in the 26th century AD, along with his trusty robot sidekick, Droid. They rode in a ship called the Space Rider ^ and answered SOS calls sent out using special SOS cards of Rynn’s own design, how those cards get around I don’t know if it was ever explained.

also featured are some fighter designs I have called *W.A.S.P. Fighter and Dundee Battle Ships

My Star Trek Reimagined Fleet.

I was working on these designs to add to my Reimagined Constitution Class.
I favour Roddenberry starship rules, so there is a clear area between the warp engines

01 Constitution Class No variants
02 Miranda Class No variants
03 Reliant Class a variant of the Miranda Class I am aware they are the same basic design but I wanted some fun
04 Loknar Class No variants, the ship has the ability to adapt using a CMA (see below) for other roles.
05 Drexler Class named after Doug DrexlerNo variants, the ship has the ability to adapt using a CMA (see below) for other roles.
06 Hutzel Class named after Gary Hutzel No variants, the ship has the ability to adapt using a CMA (see below) for other roles.
07 Oberth Class No variants
08 Carson Class a variant of the Oberth Class with CMA as standard
09 Cargo Mandible Attachment or CMA
For some designs like the Loknar, Hutzel and Drexlar Classes I added a new feature for transporting cargo, passengers etc I called a Cargo Mandible Attachment or CMA, could not think of another name.

There are many great characters in UK comics and from France/Belgium, loved reading them growing up in Ireland.
we don't have any comic industry at all, if so so small I completely missed it.
though Irish characters have made their way into UK comics like Sláine, an Irish hero created by Pat Mills, first appeared in 1983 in 2000AD which was epic

Really nice work. I've never heard of this series, so I can't comment on accuracy, but those are some attractive looking and well modeled ships. Also, I really like the environment for that final render, that's really cool.

thanks, Chris, Starblazers was only sold in the UK and Ireland I think but had some great SciFi cover art. the environment was created by GrahamTG, who shares a lot of his scene art.

Thanks Ger. It's good to be back.

I'm hoping to get back to modeling soon. I got sick last week (not the dreaded 'vid, just a cold) and I still have a cough, but I'm otherwise fine. I don't get sick very often, so it's not been a fun time. But, while I was sick, I started watching Star Trek: Discovery again. I love that show, though I've only watched through part of season 3 in the past. I'm currently rewatching season 2, and I plan to watch all 4 seasons this time. I'm currently gathering resources to start building one of the ships from that series.

I don't watch much TV now, if I am not modelling I am reading something.
