Thanks. I've just always been into detailing. Even it it's doing the dishes.

    UPDATE...
Added a new thingamagig to the back. I'm calling a rear facing disrupter since there already is a torp launcher in the back.

I’ve always loved this concept, but to my eyes, it looks more pre-TOS or ENT era than something from the films.

It definetely could have been build in the TOS or ENT era. In the 2280s it then would have accumulated enough memorable missions to earn itself the status of "diplomatic" flagship.

    UPDATE...
Think I’m done with the top of this part. I’m not sure about the little spike things I added. Just wanted to make it a little more aggressive looking.
    2856.jpg
I also add more to the bottom. But this is the and of the work on this ship since it’s a new month. I’ll get back to it later.

I'm really liking this Kronos1 design. It would make a great scratch built physical model!

    UPDATE...
I think I might need professional help because I just can’t stop working. I added more plating to the bottom of the ship.

You're a CGI addict. It's OK, many of us have been there before. :)

Those panels look slick, dude. :)

    UPDATE...
Got most of the details done. Just a few small stuff to add above the warp engine.

Among other things, that's nice detail. That must have taken some time.

That's some awesome stuff, bro. I love the height of your panels and the layering.

    UPDATE...
Pretty close to finishing the build on this thing. Just need to finish up the bottom of the center of the hull.

    UPDATE...
Well I think I finished up the center part. Not getting much work done. The weather is kind of wiping me out and hardly sleeping for about a week and a half has turned my mind evern mushier than it normally is.
    2984.jpg
Got some work done on the warp engine. Don’t know I’ll do much more. I like the engine the way it is.

It looks well detailed to me. I think it's a nice compliment to the super detailed wings.

    UPDATE...
Finally got some sleep last night I think. I actually don’t feel like complete ass today. Since the nose of the ship is the last thing I need to get done I added some stuff to it. Won’t add much more because the ship in the movie didn’t have that much.

I love it. It's very reminiscent of the painted on details on the K't'inga.

    UPDATE...
Last few days have been a bit of a heat wave. Only one more day of it tomorrow thankfully. Well that’s about it for this build. Just gonna go over a few things and decide on the colors. I know it won’t be green.
    2988.jpg
And here it is all finished and locked down. I’m very happy with it.

I wish they had used this model (and ones like it) for the Klingon ships in Discovery. You have great ideas Robert.
  • XFozzbouteXFozzboute654 Posts: 1,627Member
Thanks but It's my version of the study model made by Bill George for STVI. I just decided to make it more Klingon like and gave it engines.
  • evil_genius_180evil_genius_1804256 Posts: 11,034Member
I think this came out great, bro. I second Brandenberg's comment about your ideas. Sure, you based this on a study model, but you made changes and turned it into a completed design that fits with the rest of the Klingon fleet and design lineage. That upper 3/4 perspective shot in your last update post is just awesome.

We're in a heat wave here too. It's hot and humid, a terrible combination. :(
