Spending most of my time fixing errors. Getting very little actual work done. I did manage to add this little bit of detail on the lower secondary hull.

Well the month is almost over so I decided to jump ship now and do a little work. More segmenting, yippee! I’ll just have to come up with a way to make it work. Maybe is intentional faceting to help focus the planetary sensor on the bottom of the saucer. Anyway, added a bunch of stuff to the forward section of the secondary hull.

Well I think I’m finished. But I’ll go over it to make sure I haven’t missed anything. I’ll also work on maybe getting rid of some lights. Sothan I’ll start thinking about textures and what I want to do with them.

Started work on the textures. I chose the warp pylon because I thought it would be quick and easy it wasn’t. Took two whole days. This is basically just the base color. I add a little color swatch to see the actual color used.
The back and bottom of the pylon needs a little work is everything is backwards but that shout be easy to fix.
I really like how this worked out. The specularity is working just like I hoped. I’ll keep adding more color detail as I move along. I’ll probably do this for the entire ship before I start doing all the panel work.

The textures of this ship will be the death of me.This already the most complex texture I’ve done and I’ve hardly scratched the surface of it. I’m gonna make those circles a little more subtle. I think I’ll take a few days off.

I think I’ve done all I can for the bottom of the saucer for now. I’m gonna try to finish the airlocks than I can start textures on the rim of the ship.

I think I’m done with the airlocks. I’ll chamfer a few edges but I don’t feel the need to go too detailed for such a small part I’ll never focus on.

Got more work done on the back of the ship. I was starting to lose energy doing this ship and thought about giving up on 3d all together.

Worked on more detail on the side and fantail. I also thought the torp launcher felt a little bland so I added more detail to it.
I think i finished up the details on the bottom aft section of this ship.
I also decided to add a bit more to the the torpedo launcher because it felt a a little empty.
Started to add some small detail along the upper rim of the main hull.

I got more work done on the warp pylon. It’s looking pretty good now.
I also got most of the warp engine done.
Finished the warp engine for now. Got the RCS thrusters done.
I also did the four things around the bussard collector.
Got some work done on the aft photon torpedo launcher.
Got the fantail done and hell it was easier than the torp launcher. I’ll probably add a little more to it.
I also started on the Nav Deflector housing.
More stuff added to the textures. I’ll have to do higher rez versions when I’m done because I’m getting some artifacts I don’t like.
