I double checked my original(!) Claw Marks over the weekend and that figure is indeed correct.
Well I enjoy them; you do a great job of re-imaging the designs.
NICE! Looks amazing. Since we're on this topic, how fighters does this thing carry in the Klavs-verse?
As already mentioned the Fralthi is more of a cruiser, the fighters are presumably there to give the ship some additional scouting ability and provide a CAP if a proper carrier is not available. The out-of-setting reason for the fighters is that the ships had a bit of a 'Star Wars Flight Group' syndrome; a lot of the ships carried fighters, even if it seemed like there wasn't enough room for them. The WC1-era Confed destroyer supposedly carried 18 fighters....

Exeter carried 18 Fighter?
That's not realistic. Were the Exeter and Fralthi of similar size?
Wheels on a space fighters just seems wrong.
Gravity assisted landing would utillize a powered system and that would not be sound in an emergency. However there maybe no other choice but too use a powered system in combat to land fighters. But then again having a pilot change flight skills in less than 300 meters could be a far larger folly especially for landing. (that would be zero-G flying to 1 G flying for landing)
I do remember the Scimitar having acceleration absorbers that may stop fighters nearly instantly once in the hanger. While the scimitar has it's own I've never seen them mentioned on others. Perhaps they are installed on the carriers rather then the fighters in modern times that snatch the inertia from the fighter an transfer them to the carrier just as aircraft use wires to distribute inertia on carriers.
That could allow for a fairly neat stowing system using space on the ceiling and the deck to store fighters.
Love it Klavs, I was wondering when you were going to post the updates over here, can't wait to see more Tales of the Claw renders. What craft, if any, do you have left from the original trilogy?
I think I recognize the Jalathi six shooter.
The sixth pick is clearly a Ralari Destroyer
I don't see a ID picture for the Fralthi even though I see it in the Scene Shot.
I like how you combined the look of the Ralari with the look of the ship from End Run's Cover

Nope, the Fralthi was something like ~100 meters longer and more than twice the mass. Klavs's escort looks much more reasonable to me.
