and full of talented people !
SoA…. Here I am !
This is my redesign of a vehicle with great historyA…
This is my SkyDiver redesign , based on the original vehicle designed by Derek Meddings and Mike trim,
from the cult TV show from the 60's, UFO
I hope you like it !!

nice work, very well textured and detailed. i am not familiar with the design but i assume that the forward part(with sky written on ti in the first render) is an aircraft and the rear(with diver written on it in the first render) is a submarine carrier for it. the shot of it on the surface is col with god reflection effects. what software did you use?

    Hi spacefighter
Yes, that's right, is a jet attached to a submarine
The SkyDiver's mission is to intercept UFOs , taking off from the sea ...
I'm using 3D Max ( 2009 ) and Mental Ray as render engine.
The water is made directly with mental ray materials, called Arch & Design...

I really like how you made Sky-Diver look much more modern and dangerous!

Hey, nice rework.... I remember seeing the old series as a kid (though of course they were reshown already in the 90s)

Completely agree! Here's a show that could really use a reboot. And, from what I understand, there IS a project for it.

I'm not familiar at all with the original, but I really like your model. It's well designed and well realized. The materials are especially nice and I like the water renders.

Simply amazing! Gerry Anderson would've been proud.

Do you have plans for the Interceptor as well?

Very nice and well textured mesh. I have a mesh of the original somewhere around. I like the updated feel of it. The one on the water is a very nice compsition.
