Hello, all.

Been working on some Enterprise interiors, from The Motion Picture era. Meshes built in 3ds Max and rendered using the Unreal Development Kit (Unreal 3 game engine). Thought I'd post here for your enjoyment. Comments and criticisms welcome!

Oh, and if you'd like to keep up with day-to-day progress, you can follow my blog: http://rigel7studios.blogspot.com/

That's some really awesome work. It's nice to see the nacelles outside of the VIP quarters windows. :thumb:

    Simply amazing!

Are you planning to redo the video you posted in your TBBS thread?
Oh, and welcome to the club. This place really needs more interiors.

good modelling, a bit darker than i remember from any of the films though. control panels and structures are awesome, are you going to model the whole ship?

Amazing! The modeling is great, but it's the lighting that really makes these renders so awesome. Are you rendering this in real time with Unreal?

I love these, we rarely get interior shots here. Nice job.

Some people whined that the interior of the enterprise was too dark in STTMP. Perdonally I preferred it to the interior of the JJA enterprise, in which I'd have to put on sunglasses just to be able to see on the bridge. I mean, sheesh, were they trying to keep the crew from getting pale due to lack of strong light or what?

This interior is great, especially the engineering section, love those warp tubes.

Awesome, so what are you eventually planning for this? To do an in game walk through of the entire or key locations of the ship or something? As has been mentioned in another thread where a forum member is modelling the entire interior deck by deck of the TOS Enterprise, a virtual walk through of this ship would be sweet, never mind actually producing a game centered around exploring the decks of the old girl.

    Either way, fantastic work.
