That dose look like a fun biuld, but I would love to build Falcon as it to scale of the minifig.

Yes, if I were to build the MF in lego to scale with the minifigs and the X-Wing, it would be this one:

Hmm, that'll probably be quite the polygon hog :)
How much was it? Around 3800 bricks or something?

Still, you'll never know if your pc can take it if you don't try.

Very good...you gonna make your own Lego Star Wars short? :)
  • FreakFreak1088 Posts: 4,361Member
    Very cool!
  • stonkystonky350 Posts: 489Member
Thank you! I dunno is a short is in my future, we'll see - I'll add it to the other hundred projects that I want to do. :)

Ugg....jpeg compression really kills the details. :(

I came here just to comment on this one :D It's virtually perfect and with some nice post-processing I'm sure no one would be able to tell the difference between this and a physical model.

Has this been headered before? It should be.
  • stonkystonky350 Posts: 489Member
    You're too kind. :)
  • FreakFreak1088 Posts: 4,361Member
    Yeah it should be headered
  • IRMLIRML253 Posts: 1,993Member
it wasn't at first because when I updated the header I already put a different lego thread on it, but that one's moved off the end now so the time has come

    congrates to the header :)

    Hey, there guy...

, I'm often a fan of the older Lego Space stuff, and I think this is rather decent, interesting, and (some) detailed!

thumbs up, and I'll keep watching this!

Incredible. Looks like I could reach out and grab it out of the screen.

no offence but... why model a model? looks good and realistic anyway.

Haha, I've wondered this too at times, but seems like it's good for when you lack many of the pieces you need. It's fun but a little weird seeing LEGO in 3D when I am so familiar with it in real life.

Edit: That's not to say I don't like what you've done though Stonky, I do! :)

Aren't most of the things we model, models? I mean all the ships from all the shows are models, either physical or CGI.

The only ship I can think of off the top of my head built full sized is the tardis, and even then, only on the outside.

Legos require texturing?? Perhaps it's a good way to test out lighting.

ok so as the models of straships most people do "exist" as fullsized craft in their heads or in sci fi, this is modelling a model of a model...
