I am notorious for not finishing what I started, especially with 3D project. I guess 3D modeling and concept design as a hobby will do that to you. Anyway, here is another project which I design for a friend who's in indie game business. It will be a 2.5D shooting game made with Unreal Engine. Hopefully I can get it done this time.
Any comment will be very appreciated. I am picking this hobby up again after a long time. I'm afraid I'm getting a bit rusty

You are right. Front Mission, and in this case, Armored core is my main inspiration. I try to inject a sense of realism in otherwise very fantasy setting (guess that goes for all things Sci-Fi)

Bump map + Texture work wonders. I'd try normal mapping if I know how, sadly I don't. anybody know of good tutorial?
The horn was story relevant and was agreed by all of the team members before I even design it

After Evangelion horns on robots are very well-accepted, plus you can say they are sensor arrays.
Anyway I can't wait to see more, i'd love to try this game

Even the first Gundam already had horns, though not the way Shogōki had or even its "bunny ears" version from the original Evangelion concept drawings (see the old Newtype artbook).
